OVERARCHING THEME

The core theme for DSEI Japan 2025 is "Strengthening Indo-Pacific Security Through Advanced Technology". This theme aligns with the Japanese government’s objectives and underpins the entire event, guiding the content across the show.

Amidst rising geopolitical tensions and evolving threats, advanced technologies, ranging from artificial intelligence and autonomous systems to cybersecurity and space-based capabilities, are crucial for addressing security challenges and transforming the operational landscape.

All conference discussions in the Keynote Theatre will centre around this main theme, facilitating vital knowledge sharing and exploring potential issues that may arise.

For DSEI Japan 2025 we would have three sub-themes focusing on addressing topics and challenges for our target audience who is considered byer from both military and industry. 

Complementing the overarching theme, subthemes will be explored in dedicated Seminar Theatres. These sessions will provide in-depth discussions on specific areas, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the critical issues facing the Indo-Pacific region.

At DSEI Japan we will have 3 theatres that run concurrently. However, the sessions running at the same time should attract different types of attendees. Therefore, we recommend the following categorisation.

The seminar programme will take place at two theatres. It will dive into the practical challenges that military end-users, policymakers and operators face on the operational and execution level. It will then also explore the current and future solutions available that help solve these challenges.
