Mrs Lisa Brown
Lisa Brown is Vice President, Chief Executive Japan at Northrop Grumman. She is responsible for growing Northrop Grumman’s business in Japan and cultivating the government and industry partnerships essential to shaping and sustaining future business.
Mrs. Brown brings more than 30 years’ experience in international business, business development, and program management to this important role. She began working for Northrop Grumman in 1991 and most recently was Vice President responsible for the Next Generation Interceptor program.
Previously, Mrs. Brown was Vice President of International Business for Weapon Systems in the Defense Systems sector. Her earlier roles include program management responsibilities for guns, rockets, ammunition, weapon stations, and energetics programs. She has held engineering staff positions for ballistic and lethality modeling, process re-design, manufacturing engineering, and incident investigation.
She has both a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech. She is a board member of the NDIA Guns and Missiles committee and holds two patents for explosives and rocket propellants. She is also a member of the Society of Women Engineers, Arizona Technology Council, and has served on the Board of Directors for local Chambers of Commerce. Her position as co-chair of the Mesa Industry and Defense Council granted her access and personal familiarity with all members of the AZ Congressional delegation, key White House defense policy staff, senior leaders at NASA, the Chief of Staff of the Army and other senior military leadership.
